Sinopsis, Film Drama Normal ini menceritakan tentang beberapa kisah yang berbeda namun saling berkaitan. 

Catherine ( Carrie - Anne Moss ) masih menderita setelah putranya yang berusia 16 tahun tewas dalam kecelakaan mobil . Dale ( Andrew Airlie ) adalah suami frustrasi nya .

Jordie ( Kevin Zegers ) baru saja keluar dari tahanan anak setelah menabrak sebuah mobil curian. Pulang kerumah, bertemu ayahnya yang pemarah dan ibu tirinya yang kesepian. ada beberapa  dimana sang anak dan ibu tirinya terlibat skandal. sehingga membuat kluarga ini semakin berantakan. 

Carl ( Michael Riley ) adalah ayah yang Pemarah . 

Walt ( Callum Keith Rennie ) adalah seorang dosen merasa bersalah dengan saudaranya yang memiliki kelainan autis Dennis .

Sinopsis, Sebuah film drama romantis, berawal dari seorang wanita yang bernama Sophie Lee, seorang Istri dari suami yang berasal dari keluarga katolik taat korea. pernikahannya tidak bahagia karena Tuhan tidak kunjung memberikan anak. Bagi keluarga suaminya, tidak memiliki anak adalah sebuah aib yang sangat memalukan. Sehingga sang suami menjadi depresi dan memutuskan untuk bunuh diri.

ditengah kegalauan suaminya, Sophie Lee berusaha menghiburnya agar tidak melakukan tindakan bunuh diri. Hingga suatu ketika timbulah ide extrim yang terlintas dalam benak Sophie, dia berniat untuk menyelamatkan mental suaminya dengan cara, menyewa seseorang yang memiliki kemiripan dengan gen suaminya agar bisa membuatnya hamil.
